Solar system poster

Today I finished off making my solar system poster and I did the planets in order.

My sun

                                 How to make a sun.

I made a sun yesterday with yellow paper.

First you need to get a yellow paper. Get a ruler and a pencil. Grab the pencil and ruler and put the ruler by the yellow paper and put a line on the yellow paper from - 0 centimeter to 14.

Next cut 2 short squares on the yellow paper and cut a straight square line on the paper. Then make a 4 square piece on the 2 square pieces and roll the 2 square pieces over and over and glue them together on the sides. Grab the straight square line and fold it in a 4 square line and then unfold it.

Then grab the straight square line again and fold it like a fan then when you’ve finished folding it into a fan fold it together and grab the scissors and cut the ends off and make it pointy. Then grab the glue again and glue the middle of the straight square line and glue the straight square line together with the other 2 squares.

Lastly grab a spear yellow paper and grab the scissors and cut the spear yellow paper into a circle for the head and put a mouth, nose and eyes on it and grab the glue and glue it on the top of the sun and write your name on the back of your sun. Then you can teach your parents and siblings how to make a sun.

What I really like about my sun is that it is shiny and bright.

What I don’t like about my sun is that it is kind of sticky and it is a little bit messy.
