We went on the hope water slide and it was awesome this is ina little place called Opoitki
We went to a beautiful river in Maraenui i loved swimming their because the water was so fresh and clear.
We even got to see other people riding horses instead of driving. I thought that was pretty cool

  2. Kia ora Jessie,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. Thank you for sharing your awesome blog all about your road trip to the East Coast. What a wonderful time you must have had! I really enjoyed looking at the maps you have shared - the roads twist and turn right along the coastline. I bet it was a very scenic drive. Is Torere Marae a special place that you have visited previously or was this your first visit?

I love how you saw people riding horses instead of driving cars and how you collected fresh spring water. Was the water slide you went on one of those slides that is completely covered like a tube? I find those a bit scary!

    Keep up the great work!

    Mā te wā,
    Fiona (SLJ).
